KeSEMaTsite - Conservation, Education, Research and Documentation of Mangrove

Semarang, Central Java. Again, KeSEMaT will conduct its yearly event known as Mangrove Cultivation (MC) 2008: Campaign and Cultivation of Mangrove at 14 – 16 March 2008. The aim is to give information about the correct method of mangrove cultivation to student and community. It also has second aim to save mangrove vegetation in Teluk Awur Jepara from abrasion.

MC 2008 will followed by many events such as Global Warming seminar, coastal clean up, introduction of mangrove animal and species, fun games, making nursery in Arboretum of KeSEMaT, watching mangrove documentary, sunset photo session, et cetera.

Facilities such as accommodation, food, snack, T-Shirt, sticker, seminar kit, certificate and door prize will given by committees to all of participants.

It opens to public by 8 February until 8 March 2008. Charge Rp. 70.000,-. You can find The Application at KeSEMaT Office Semarang and Campus of Marine Science UNDIP Semarang.
