Seeds Survey and KeSEMaT Goes To Arboretum (KGTA)

On 23 - 24 February 2008, The Committees of Mangrove Cultivation (MC) 2008 - KeSEMaT had conducted seeds survey in mangrove forest of Ujung Piring and Teluk Awur, Jepara. This activity was held two days with many activities. First day, they surveyed Ujung Piring and the next day they went to Teluk Awur, Jepara.

Committees had successfully clumped mangrove seeds from many species such Rhizophora apiculata, Bruguiera cylindrica, Ceriops tagal and C. decandra. These seeds were very important because it would be cultivated in MC 2008 (14 - 16 March 2008).

Not only survey, DEPDIKTAN of KeSEMaT had used this activity as KeSEMaT Goes To Arboretum (KGTA). KGTA checked mangrove seeds of Mangrove REpLaNT 2007. For Member of KeSEMaT Period VIII, KGTA was very useful because it introduced mangrove species to them. It followed by Committees of MC 2008, Member of KeSEMaT Period VIII, DK, DP and Alumnus of KeSEMaT. [<]
