The Activities of KeSEMaT with Green Community and DETIKERS Semarang

Semarang, Central Java. On May, 25 2008, KeSEMaT represented by Febriana Mirasti (Member), Farhan Pramudito (Member), Abdul Rohman Zaky (Member), and Havis Rahman Nursalim (Member) had made canal in order to prepare Mangrove REpLaNT (MR) 2008, which will held on 18 - 20 July 2008. This canal functions as water circulation to keep mangrove grows well.

On May, 24 2008, KeSEMaT Jepara visited by six members of Green Community - Semarang University (UNNES). They were studying mangrove species in Mangrove Arboretum of KeSEMaT in Teluk Awur Jepara. 

Next, on May, 24 2008, KeSEMaT's representatives Ayu Permanasari (Member) had presented profile of KeSEMaT in "Meeting of Student College Society" organized by Student Society (BEM) in Seminar Room of Marine Science Department, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science (FPIK) Diponegoro University (UNDIP).

On May, 29 2008, Handung Nuryadi (President) and Yanuar Noor Akbar (MENWIRA) was meeting with BEM UNDIP. The result of this meeting was campaign to commemorate The World No Smoke Day on May, 31 2008.

Next, on June, 30 2008, Farhan Pramudito (Member) had represented KeSEMaT in International Campleader Training held by Indonesia International Work Camp (IIWC). It will be conducted in Gedongsongo, Semarang from 30 May - 1 June 2008. It had aim to train Campleader in order to follow International Work Camp. It will held in three locations in Indonesia.

On May, 31 2008, KeSEMaT represented by Aris Priyono (DK), Windy Indra Ardiansyah (MENDIKTAN), Sunanto Kusuma P. (MENSEK), and Febriana Mirasti (Member) had assisted DETIKERS and BIKERS of Semarang doing mangrove survey in Maron Semarang (see picture above). It was doing at 3.30 PM - 6 PM to find location of mangrove restoration called “Greening Coastal of Semarang" (Ijonisasi Pantai Semarang) program which will be done by this community. [<]
