The Activities of KeSEMaT with OXYGEN 16, BINTARI, FoE, IIWC and FISIP UNDIP

Semarang, Central Java. On April, 19 2008, KeSEMaT represented by Febriana Mirasti (Member) followed recycling program of OXYGEN 16. Febriana also become The First Winner of Environmental Photo Competition. Her photo called “Teluk Awur Terserak” (The condition of huge abrasion in Teluk Awur).

Next, on May, 1 2008, KeSEMaT represented by Aris Priyono (DK), Arief Marsudi Harjo (Leader of Alumnus) and Andi Rahman (Alumnus) was met The Indonesian Association for Environmental Protection and Sustainable Development - Yayasan Bina Karta Lestari (BINTARI) and Friends of Earth (FoE) Japan in its office. This meeting was discussing about mangrove restoration in coastal region of Semarang. It started at 9 AM - 11 AM.

On May, 7 2008, started at 6.30 PM - 9 PM, KeSEMaT was meeting with staff of Indonesia International Work Camp (IIWC) in KeSEMaT office discussing about mangrove work camp in Mangkang, Semarang.

On May, 8 and 15, May 2008, KeSEMaT represented by Sunanto Kusuma P. (MENSEK) and Aris Priyono (DK), also assisted students of Communication (FISIP) of Diponegoro University (UNDIP) doing their shooting of environmental documentary (mangrove) in Trimulyo, Genuk - Semarang. It had taken by 11 AM - 2 PM.

Furthermore, on May, 23 2008, KeSEMaT representatives by Muhamad Ikhsan Sri Hartadi (DP), Agus Susanto (Alumnus), Isna Bahtiar (DP), Aris Priyono (DK), Sunanto Kusuma P. (MENSEK) and Abdul Rahman Zaky (Membera) had done the second meeting with IIWC, then surveying and socializing KeSEMaT Goes To School (KGTS) to schools in Genuk, Semarang. [<]
