Training of Mangrove Training 2008

Pasar Banggi - Rembang. On 10 - 11 May 2008, KeSEMaT conducted Training of Community Structure of Mangrove Research to complete Mangrove Training (MT) 2008 in Pasar Banggi Village Rembang, Central Java. Training was focused on community structure of mangrove research. It had trained participants about how to do sampling including measure diameter and height of seedling, sapling and tree. It also measure parameters such as temperature, pH, salinity and sediment type. 

Training of MT 2008, was assisted by Mr. Suyadi (Leader of Mangrove Society of Pasar Banggi) and two mangrove expert of KeSEMaT i.e. Muhamad Ikhsan Sri Hartadi (DP) dan Agus Susanto (Alumnus). It attended by 18 participants from KeSEMaTERS, student of Marine Science Department and MIPA UNDIP.

MT 2008 was divided become three activities: (1) mangrove seminar, (2) sampling and (3) data analysis. (1) and (2) was held on May, 10 2008 and (3) on May, 11 2008. [<]
