Gathering Mangrove Seeds in Ujung Piring Jepara

In March, 9 2008, The Committees of  Mangrove Cultivation (MC) 2008 - KeSEMaT lead by Sunanto Kusuma P. (Leader of MC 2008/MENSEK) visited Ujung Piring and Teluk Awur Jepara to gather mangrove seeds (propagule) which would be used at MC 2008 at Teluk Awur Jepara in 14 - 16 March 2008.

Except Sunanto Kusuma P., there were another KeSEMaTERS which had followed this activity such as Windy Indra Ardiansyah (MENDIKTAN), Aris Priyono (DK), Karina Widaty (MENWEBNET), Abdul Rohman Zaky (Staff of MENWIRA), Farhan Pramudito (Staff of MENKOMSI), Febriana Mirasti (Staff of MENWIRA), Indriatmoko (Staff of MENPORSI), M. Saiful Amri (Staff of MENSEK), and Yanuar Sandy Perdana (Staf of MENSEK).

In this activity, there were 1500 seeds of Rhizophora apiculata, Ceriops tagal, C. decandra, and Sonneratia caseolaris which would be gathered and cultivate on MC 2008. Except gather seeds, DEPDIKTAN also gathering it to make Herbarium and add it with another species such as Aegiceras corniculatum, Excoecaria agallocha, Thespesia populnea et cetera. [<]
